Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Tue: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Wed: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence hall exteriors, parking areas, walkways, and surrounding perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate campus contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, and maintain professional communication with campus personnel and local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
