Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking, and perimeter and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and document visitors and incidents.
• Support a professional workplace by communicating clearly with site personnel and following post orders and reporting requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following applicable post orders and reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
