Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and driving position policy applies.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• State/county/city security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior, exterior, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and deliveries; verify credentials and follow entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and responders as required.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately using required reporting tools.

Job Schedule:

• Wed — 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat — 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery activity; verify credentials and follow site procedures for entry, escort, and restricted‑area access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders in accordance with established procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
