Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol Operations in Springfield, TN. You will provide security for clients across industries, patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service.

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Report observed hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and maintenance-related issues to the appropriate site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.
