Responsibilities

• Monitor access, verify credentials, and report observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor visitor and contractor access, verify credentials as directed, maintain required logs, and report security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with personnel and following post orders, reporting requirements, and applicable procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
