As a Security Guard Access Control Driver in Oakland, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying visitor, employee, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-control records, issue and collect visitor badges or credentials, and communicate entry concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-area access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
