Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Checkpoint in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic entertainment and retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to guests and team members. This driving position supports a positive environment through clear communication, timely reporting, and professional response to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $25.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entertainment areas, dining spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing guests, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
