As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a retail property environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Pay Rate: $26.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the surrounding property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, supporting property rules, and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Customer Service Experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
