Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Jacksonville, FL. You will patrol sites, deter unauthorized activity, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining safety and security across assigned shifts.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents. CPR/First Aid and security licensing are preferred; background checks and drug screening are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required for driving position.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• State/city-issued security license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific, security‑related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
