Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies at a chemical/petrochemical location.

• Monitor and report hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Experienced Vehicle Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical or petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
