Job summary

Allied Universal in Allentown, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver First Aid Support to protect clients across various sites. You will provide security procedures, monitor access, and respond to emergencies while maintaining calm professionalism.

The role offers an hourly pay of $20.22 and a night schedule (Fri/Sat 11 PM–7 AM). Strong customer service, valid driver's license, and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
