Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Checkpoint Screening in Chillicothe, OH. You will manage entry points, verify access, and provide customer service to employees and visitors at a manufacturing site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a background check, with shifts primarily during evenings and weekends. This position emphasizes door-to-door access control, incident response, and professional communication to maintain a secure, welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and contractor access, and maintain access-related records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access issues and policy violations.
