Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Driver Credential Issuance in Circleville, OH to safeguard clients in chemical/petrochemical locations. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain secure environments while delivering excellent customer service.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work the listed shifts; you can use our Claim a Shift platform to build a schedule.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue access materials, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs.
• Control access for employees, contractors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements and restricted-area protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and support security-related operations.
