Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Chillicothe, OH to provide customer service, conduct routine security patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents following site protocols. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work a night shift as listed.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unauthorized activity.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate observed hazards or maintenance concerns to site contacts.
