Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Unarmed in Huntsville, AL. This role offers flexible, reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and grow toward a full‑time career in security.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, an active DoD Secret Clearance, and the ability to work a fixed day shift from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Pay is $18.93 per hour.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Clearance Required in Huntsville, AL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.93 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSun05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and contractor access procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation; promptly communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
