Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Route Driver with Active Clearance in Merrimack, NH. You will protect clients across aerospace/defense sites, patrol areas, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service. A valid DoD Secret Clearance and a driver’s license are required, with a possible guard card preferred.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required under Allied Universal policy.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
