• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures; report unusual conditions or violations
• Document patrol observations and incidents and relay information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts

As a Security Officer Distribution Site - Overnight in Longs, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and report observations. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
