Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Distribution Facility Patrol Logkeeping in Buena Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming, security-related environment while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first, collaborates closely, and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time / Overnight Shift

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
