Allied Universal in Pittston, PA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Badge Administration. You will protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sites by managing access points, verifying badges, monitoring areas, and delivering courteous service.

This role combines security and driving responsibilities, and requires a valid driver's license and compliance with AU policies. The schedule runs Daytime with shifts 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM across several days, and the position offers full-time

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per AU policy and state regulations.
• Customer service experience is preferred for interacting with clients.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet for site tasks.
• Access control and badge management experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in line with laws.
• Drug screening is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers at entry points.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain access logs, direct authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Screen deliveries and document irregularities, report concerns as needed.
• Respond to access-control incidents calmly and escalate per procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Badge Administration in Pittston, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, where you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor assigned areas, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License:

  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
  • Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license that complies with the regulations of the job state (C124).

• Access Control/Badge Experience:

  • Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201).

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet:

  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency and comfort in using computers or tablets for job-related tasks (B204).

• Customer Service Experience:

  • Candidates are required to have relevant customer service experience (B219) that showcases their ability to interact effectively with clients and customers.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain access logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles to appropriate areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing deliveries in accordance with site procedures, document irregularities, and communicate concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, business areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
