Allied Universal in Santa Teresa, NM is seeking a part-time Security Officer Badge Validation to protect a logistics and distribution site. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor records while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires attention to detail, compliance with procedures, and the ability to respond to incidents calmly. Pay is $14.09 per hour with a rotating weekend schedule.

Qualifications

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and assist with visitor procedures. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.09 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 01:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 01:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, entrances, and/or receiving areas, escalating unauthorized-access concerns or irregular activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
