Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation may be required under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify IDs, maintain entry records, and control entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns with calm, clear communication to site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking, and perimeter.
• Document access-control activities and incidents per site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $14.09 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Thur 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and help control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document access-control activities, incidents, and irregularities in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
