Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Systems Driver in La Habra, CA to support a healthcare location. You will drive to site, manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain a welcoming presence for patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in the job state.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Manage access control points by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining visitor access records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Monitor access control systems, alarms, cameras, and other security-related equipment; report irregularities, equipment concerns, and unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
