Allied Universal in Henderson, CO invites you to join as a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at our distribution center. You will provide security procedures, access control, and customer service in a logistics environment.

This role offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts, earning $20.49 per hour, with a path toward more hours up to 40 weekly. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols through loading areas, parking areas, access points and perimeter.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Distribution Center in Henderson, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.49 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
