Qualifications

• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive calls for service, document details, and coordinate response from on-site personnel and/or emergency services.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns according to procedures.
• Maintain logs, incident reports, radio communications, and other dispatch-related records.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, access-control systems, and other security-related technology, reporting unusual activity and deterring unauthorized access.

What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, radio communications, and other dispatch-related records in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, access-control systems, and other security-related technology, reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
