GDI, Inc. is seeking a responsible security guard to ensure safety and security at our premises. The ideal candidate is alert, professional, and reliable, with the ability to monitor and report effectively.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. We offer EAP, discount programs, uniforms, longevity awards, state license assistance, and weekly pay. Prior security experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsabilités

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with high level of detail.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computer.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Report facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Use provided software to annotate events during shift.
• Make regular patrols and scan predetermined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team.
• Perform other assigned duties.
