Job summary

Mattel San Bernardino Distribution Center seeks a Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure workplace and protect Mattel's assets. You will enforce security practices, respond to emergencies, monitor access, and perform daily administrative data entry for inbound and outbound vehicles.

Requirements include 1+ year security experience (corporate, warehouse, law enforcement, or military preferred), a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification desired, valid driver’s license, ability to read

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Security Officer in a corporate, warehouse, law enforcement, or military environment preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Mattel security best practices and participate in CTPAT program recommendations.
• Respond to emergencies and take appropriate action.
• Protect the distribution center from theft, vandalism, fire and unauthorized access.
• Perform administrative data entry for inbound/outbound tractor trailers or vehicles.
• Screen entrants to ensure authorized access.
• Report security/safety incidents to supervisors for documentation.
• Drive Mattel fleet vehicle or golf cart to deter security risks.
• Provide high level customer service to employees, vendors, and visitors.
• Perform inspections to maintain safety standards.
• Learn and perform all duties of the security officer.
