Job summary

Mattel San Bernardino Distribution Center is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure workplace and protect assets while supporting warehouse operations. You will enforce security best practices, respond to emergencies, monitor access, conduct inspections, and perform data entry for inbound/outbound traffic.

The role requires standing/walking for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Shift is Saturday–Wednesday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with Thursdays and Fridays off; candidates need 1+

Qualifications

• 1+ years of security officer experience in corporate/warehouse/law enforcement/military.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read, interpret policies and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Mattel security best practices and CTPT recommendations.
• Respond to emergencies and take appropriate action.
• Protect the distribution center from theft, vandalism, fire and unauthorized access.
• Perform administrative data entry for inbound/outbound trailers and vehicles.
• Screen entrants at employee entrances for authorized access.
• Report security incidents to supervisors with proper documentation.
• Drive Mattel fleet vehicles or golf carts to deter negative activity.
• Provide high quality customer service to employees, vendors, and visitors.
• Perform regular safety inspections (daily/weekly/monthly/annual).
• Learn and perform all duties of the security officer role.
