Kiawah Island Community Association is hiring for a full-time security position on Kiawah Island. Shifts run 6:25am to 6:45pm, 12 hours.

Responsibilities include customer service, access control, patrolling, incident reporting, and driving the island shuttle as needed. We offer two health plans plus dental, vision, and life coverages, disability insurance, HSA contributions, paid holidays, accrued time off, a 401(k) match, uniforms, and wellness benefits.

Competenze

Excellent customer service even under stress.
Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Stand, walk and kneel for extended periods.
Navigate stairs in low light conditions.
Endure extreme weather conditions.
Work 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays.
Maintain neat, professional appearance per uniform guidelines.
Proficient with computers, iPads and related devices.

Mansioni

Provide excellent customer service to KICA membership, guests, commercial customers and island staff.
Answer phones, assist callers or route to the right party.
Use computer software to locate records and manage passes.
Control vehicle and pedestrian access with appropriate passes.
Patrol properties, identify safety concerns and covenant violations.
Perform patrols, often solo or in low light.
Respond to emergencies and document incidents.
Monitor surveillance cameras and report suspicious activity.
Drive shuttle for members on-island or to Charleston area locations and manage detours when needed.
Assist with island closure/re-opening during weather events.
Follow Kiawah Standards and company policies; work to reduce costs.
Other duties as assigned.
