Job summary

Kiawah Island Community Association is seeking a reliable janitorial associate to service the Sandcastle facility on Kiawah Island. The role offers $18/hour base pay with overtime eligibility, a flexible schedule, and bi-weekly mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must provide quality service to a diverse clientele.
• Ability to diagnose abnormal and emergency conditions and take corrective measures for safety and service.
• Able to interact effectively with patrons and staff.
• Adaptable to flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Performs all routine cleaning for the Sandcastle facility.
• Vacuums carpets and sweeps as needed.
• Mops and maintains floors (granite, linoleum or tile).
• Cleans windows and surfaces.
• Launders towels and linens as needed.
• Maintains inventory of janitorial items, towels, linens, cutlery and dishware.
• Monitors and empties trash.
• Maintains upkeep of indoor plants.
• Assists with event setups and breakdowns.
• Follows KICA safety procedures in all duties.
