Allied Universal in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Security Officer for Data Center Protection. You will monitor access, patrol the facilities, and provide courteous, responsive service to clients while upholding site policies and safety protocols.

As part of a technology-focused location, you will use computers or tablets to log activity, communicate with visitors and team members, and respond calmly to incidents, ensuring a secure, compliant environment 24/7.

Formación

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor/contractor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations and communicate information to site leadership or responders.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Data Center Protection in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems as needed, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and contribute to a caring, reliable workplace through teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a data center environment.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery activity records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
