Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for a Distribution Center in Aurora, CO. You will protect clients across tech/media/telecom sectors, deliver excellent customer service, and uphold safety and security protocols on site.

You'll perform regular unarmed patrols, monitor entrances, report observations, and help create a welcoming, secure environment while coordinating with team members through our shift-claim platform to build a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.

Pay Rate: $22.41 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting access concerns and maintaining accurate activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment by providing directions, answering questions, and communicating observed hazards or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
