Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, manage visitor/contractor entry, and report access concerns.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
