Job summary

Fidelity TalentSource is seeking a Security Officer in Smithfield, RI to serve as a Brand Ambassador for Global Security Operations. You will actively patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, and protect Fidelity’s associates, customers, and property.

This role requires excellent customer service, the ability to work under stress, and a willingness to cover rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent life/work experience.
• 1–3 years security experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Exposure to current security technology & systems.
• Understanding of physical security principles.
• Ability to perform under stressful conditions.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle.
• Inspect and audit security equipment and workspace safety.
• Monitor, record, and report abnormal conditions using devices.
• Interact professionally with associates, visitors, vendors, customers; enforce policies.
• Provide 1st responder services during emergencies; may act as incident commander.
• Produce accurate incident reports and activity records.
• Use life safety equipment as needed.
