Job summary

Allied Universal in Northborough, MA is seeking a Security Officer Customer Care Patrol to protect clients across tech/media locations. The role involves unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, and delivering professional customer service in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include completing incident reports, coordinating with site leadership, and supporting emergency response while maintaining clear communication.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining accurate records of visitors, deliveries, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Pay Rate: $20.44 / Hour

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
