Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Verification in Plainview, TX. You will safeguard clients by managing access, monitoring entries, and delivering excellent customer service while following site-specific policies.

As part of a residential access-control team, you will document incidents, communicate with residents and staff, and respond calmly to emergencies, helping maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide access-control services to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating according to procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel while documenting incidents and observations.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel while documenting incidents and observations accurately.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
