Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, and maintaining access records.
• Monitor access points, alarm systems, cameras, and other security equipment; report irregularities and incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, production areas, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Identity Verification in McAllen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a leading aerospace manufacturing location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, maintaining access records, and following site-specific badging procedures.
• Monitor access points, alarm systems, cameras, and other security-related equipment; report irregularities, maintenance concerns, and unauthorized access attempts according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
