Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Credential Validation in Wilkesboro, NC. You will support access control at a food and beverage location, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor activity while delivering strong customer service.

The role includes scheduling on weekends with a pay rate of $18.25 per hour. You will use computer or tablet systems daily and participate in a safety-conscious, team-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and control access to authorized areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and grounds.
• Observe and report unusual activity or policy violations to support a secure environment.

• Sat 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• Sun 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to authorized areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and facility grounds; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Support a professional, orderly workplace by observing and reporting unusual activity, policy violations, and potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
