Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per law; pass drug screen where allowed.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by implementing site-specific procedures and access-control policies.
• Verify credentials, screen visitors, issue passes, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Monitor vehicle flow, coordinate deliveries, report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents following escalation procedures.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, monitoring access activity, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. You will support security-related operations through strong customer service, attention to detail, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Sat: 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM
Sun: 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, coordinate with site personnel regarding deliveries and pickups, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
