Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Desk Operations in Fremont, CA. You will monitor and patrol, deter incidents, assist with access control and badge processes, and provide outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet; CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols across automotive manufacturing, production, warehouse, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor/employee/contractor activity per site requirements.
• Document incidents and patrols accurately and communicate to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Credential Desk Operations in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Security Officer supporting an automotive location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and assist with access control and badge processes. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout automotive manufacturing, production, warehouse, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
