Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Country Club Entry Authorization in Wellington, FL. In this full-time role, you will supervise access points, welcome residents and visitors, and maintain safety across a residential community, using professional service to deter incidents.

You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, log visitors, respond to incidents, and complete accurate incident reports.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Guard card is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct patrols of residential areas, entrances, parking, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and document incidents and observations.

As a Security Officer Country Club Entry Authorization in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and supporting residents and visitors with professional service. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns while helping to deter incidents. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, access activity, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
