Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Corrections Security in Tulsa, OK. You will monitor sites, conduct patrols, and deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This full-time position offers regular daytime schedules and a pay rate of $27.33 per hour, with weekly pay and required minimum qualifications. You will need a HS Diploma or GED and a Corrections Officer License; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Corrections Officer License.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; assist with visitor reception and credential processes.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; document observations and complete reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations; report concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, public-service representatives, and emergency responders following protocols.

As a Security Officer Corrections Security in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; assist with visitor reception, directions, and credential-related processes as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, public-service representatives, and emergency responders while following Allied Universal and location-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Corrections Officer License.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
