Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Corrections License Holder in Tulsa, OK. You will protect clients and uphold government location procedures, monitor areas, perform patrols, and report incidents with accuracy.

Qualifications

• A Corrections Officer License is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with entry control and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
