Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Enhanced for Greenwich, CT. You will provide tenant and staff security, perform fixed anchor shifts, and have opportunities to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site procedures.

• Monitor access points and maintain logs; report observations to leadership.
• Assist with directions and routine inquiries and report maintenance or security issues.

• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain accurate logs and reports, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or appropriate responders.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions, addressing routine inquiries, and reporting maintenance, access, or security‑related issues.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
