Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production, storage, shipping, receiving, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and deter unauthorized entry.
• Report hazards, damaged property, unusual activity, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and supervision.

As a Security Guard Premier Residential Rover in Greenwich, CT, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate

$22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security‑related activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout food and beverage production, storage, shipping, receiving, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying authorization in accordance with site‑specific procedures and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Report observed hazards, damaged property, unusual activity, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
