Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Boca Raton, FL. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings while building experience across sites.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour with a base schedule designed for part-time flexibility and potential progression toward a full-time schedule. Responsibilities include access control, incident response, and thorough reporting.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Minimum of 6 months of security experience.
• Possess a guard card.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in line with Allied Universal requirements.

As a Security Officer Corporate Mobile in Boca Raton, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Minimum of 6 months of security experience
• Possess a guard card.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
