Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Corporate Healthcare in Denver, CO to protect clients at a financial institution. You will monitor premises, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

This full-time role requires attention to security procedures, clear reporting, and teamwork. Paid at $21.93 per hour with daytime shifts and opportunities for training and advancement through our smart tools and benefits program.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other designated locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff communications for Allied Universal and site leadership.
