Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity across the property, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations at a technology-focused location by maintaining a visible presence and guiding visitors.

What You\'ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity across the property, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations at a technology-focused location by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with visitor direction, and following post orders related to after-hours access, deliveries, and restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
