• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per access-control procedures.
• Document observations and patrol activity in required reports and share with leadership and site contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $21.29 / Hour

• Mon 10:30 AM - 06:30 PM
• Tue 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sun 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Contractual Obligations:
• All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is a mandatory requirement for all positions that involve driving as part of the job responsibilities.
• Additional Qualifications (Beneficial to Position): Candidates are encouraged to possess the following qualifications, which may enhance their suitability for the position:
• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with access control systems and badge management.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Experience in operating and managing alarm panel systems.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks and communication.
• CPR Certification (B205): Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, which is beneficial for roles involving safety and emergency response.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): Previous experience in customer service roles, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
