Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly, de-escalate, report concerns, and request assistance when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, then communicate findings to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete security documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests. You will greet tenants and visitors, support access points, and document observations with clear communication. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, reporting concerns, and requesting assistance when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including building common areas, lobbies, stairwells, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions such as unauthorized entry, disturbances, and/or property hazards, and communicate findings to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete security-related documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and use required communication systems to relay updates in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
