Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer College Campus Patrol Driver in Bronx, NY to safeguard campus facilities and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and assist students, faculty, staff, and guests with professionalism.

The role requires a valid driver's license and security-related experience. The position is full-time with a daytime/evening schedule and pays $20.30–$21.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license per policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Backgrounds considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and professionally following campus protocols.
• Conduct regular foot/vehicle patrols of buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports per site requirements.

As a Security Officer College Campus Patrol Driver in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a higher education location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with professionalism. You will support a welcoming campus environment through clear communication, reliable service, and teamwork while representing Allied Universal’s agile, innovative, caring, and integrity‑driven values.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.

• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
